I bought a six pack of this at the grocery store. I was Disappointed in this initially, it grew on me as I finished the glass. Poured into a tulip.
A- Pours a golden almost orange hazy color with a tall white head.
S- Belgian yeast spice character, clove and coriander, dominates with a hint of strawberries.
T- Belgian spice, strawberries more apparent than in the nose. Finishes with slight hop bitterness that fades fast into a bready, yeasty flavor.
M- Medium body with relatively high carbonation initially, carbonation faded quickly.
O- Not my favorite. I probably won't buy again, it was well made, just not what I was looking for.

Appearance is a cloudy orange amber supporting a healthy head that lingers leaving nill lace. Smell of Belgian style yeast with a light strawberry aroma. Taste again of the Belgian style spice in the yeast and having that light strawberry flavor leaving a little hoppy bitter in the end. Mouthfeel is medium light with good carbonation for the style.

This is one of the best fruit flavored beers I've had. The smell of this beer is absolutely astounding, smelling of anise, cloves, malts and most of all strawberries. The taste is slightly slightly underwhelming when compared with the smell, the spicy clove flavor takes most of the palate, followed by the normal Belgian flavors, with undertones of strawberry. If anything, this beer could have used a bit more of the strawberry flavor and perhaps a bit more alcohol but is a great buy and could make for a great session beer.

22 oz bought from "Habits" tobacco shop in Salem. $2.49 Pours a cloudy golden colour with a large frothy/bubbly white head. Aromas of slight coriander,band-aid,earth and slight phenolic..actually OK. Taste spice, phenolic, dark berry fruits, slight bubble gum, nice but its not too deep and sort of fades. Nice mouth feel to this could have maybe done with more carbonation I actually thought this was a goodish attempt and for under $2.50 its OK.

Picked this up as part of the Pyramid Spring mix 12-pack... Pours with a solid 3 finger meringue like head that rises a 1/2" out of the glass... retention is amazing... the brew is a orange with pretty nice lacing.
Nose shows plenty of clove ... not much in the way of fruity esters, but there is a decent amount albeit subtle strawberry essence... malts show as a dry cracker element.
Again clove phenol is the big player on the palate.. a bit peppery too with warmth... berry flavor shows up toward the finish and lingers more cleanly and pronounced once the phenols die back.
Pretty huge carbonation... burpy... light/medium body... still pretty drinkable and refreshing.
Not the best saison ... IMO, more like a Belgian Pale.
