22oz bottle of Pyramid H7 from 06/08/2017. The beer pours brassy red amber and is surprisingly clear for an "unfiltered imperial IPA". I think there's some sediment on the bottom of the bottle, but "unfiltered" doesn't mean "dark". Aroma is a little bit sweet with malt, and doesn't exactly scream "from citrus to pine to tropical fruit and the kitchen sink". Flavor is more assertively hoppy, with significant residual sugar to support it. Reminds me very much of classic American DIPAs. But this one isn't very remarkable. The bottle promises a lot, and Pyramid under-delivers.

Amber body with white head which leaves no lacing.
This is.... really really good tasting. Overripe fruit and brown sugar alcohols. Lingering alcohol bitterness after it warms. Very smooth.
Really really good. Recommended.

22 oz bottle. No bottling info
Pours a cloudy dark orange body with a slightly off white head. Very little retention or lacing
Smell is not very prominent. I'm getting a little bit of plum with mostly grain. There is a definite malt presence along with that familiar Pyramid yeast scent.
Taste is a big and bitter with a slight sweetness that doesn't quite hide the 9.5 alcohol.
Feel is full, creamy, and very nice ! Best part of this beer...
Reminded me a lot of Pyramid's Outburst imperial IPA... On steroids ! But frankly, for $8.99 it's not worth the money. For the price of this one 22 oz beer, I could have gotten two 22 oz Pyramid Outburst Imperial ales, and a bag of beer nuts!

22 oz bottle bought from a local convenience store. $2.99 Hazy darker golden body with a lovely creamy and thick eggshell white head. Aromas are of fruity, floral hops. papaya, mango, sweet cherry and flowers. Taste is similar to the aroma..but less sweet, balanced by a chunky caramel malts and a drying alcohol presence , which helps the tsste this time and does not detract. Nice medium mouth feel which gets sweet near the end but is not cloying. Very nice IIPA from Pyramid of all people. Drinkable despite the high alc volume.

Bottle from Safeway-Yakima. Starts off with a somewhat normal pour, murky amber and small airy head. Aroma also seem normal IPA, but fuller flavor flows, with gentle alcohol warmth. Hops kick in late, and linger long after the finish. Mild for an IIPA, but very accessible.
