I had this beer on nitro in a pint glass at the Pyramid Alehouse.
Appearance: very dark brown, nearly black, with plenty of haze and a thick finger of creamy light tan foam. Very attractive.
Smell: lightly roasty and creamy without a lot else going on. That said, it's very well crafted.
Taste: lightly toasty and caramelly, with a nice roasty stout character. Not bad at all.
Mouthfeel: medium light body with a decent carbonation and creaminess. I'm not so sure the nitro helped here, but it's not bad.
Overall: this beer is good, if not perfect, but it really appeals to me. Points for style, maybe?
