Er, no.
Had this at the brewery in SacTown, on their beer mat they said it was 11%ABV and I believe it.
Served a nice cloudy gold with a thin but rich white head. In a pint glass (well, ok, more for me so no complaints.) Sharp sugarywheaty smell.
Malty, banana-wheat flavor, no real spiciness, and all overwhelmed by a powerful assload of yeast. Had a strong alcohol flavor as well which would have been ok if not for the sugary yeast. The mouthfeel was so thick I thought a loaf of bread was going to pop out of my mouth. Put down a whole one of these and you've got a potent gas bomb in your stomach that can later lay waste to a packed elevator or bus.
I love powerful sweet beer, but this was practically undrinkable with all the sugary yeastiness of a fruitcake. Please work on a more well-balanced version people.

This is a potent beer for sure. Pours a light rum color with little white head. The smell is of strong alcohol and buttered toffee and rum. The taste is that of a scotch, hints of butter with the high alcohol. Way to sweet, almost like drinking a syrup. Feels medium bodied and bites the mouth. I sampled this at the pub out of a 6oz glass and could barely finish it.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
