Crisp in flavor and light in body, this Pale Ale uses Noble Hops for their spicy, herbal aromas. A subtle, yet noticeable malt support lends balance to a mild bitterness that’s just right for the change of season.

Golden amber in color. Thin, bubbly head. Some lacing. Slight haze. The smel is light malt, faint hint of orange, honey & yeast. The noble hops bitterness give it a bit of herbal and earthy tones. Smooth and malt forward overall. Some sweetness initially followed by the bitterness. Crisp mouthfeel and dry finish. A decent APA in my opinion.

I bought a six-pack of Hopfen Spring in a grocery store. Poured in to a pint glass.

Pours a shiny yellow/ gold color, clear with a this white head.

Smell is faint, a bit of a sweet bread aroma.

Taste is light on the malt giving way to a spicy bitterness. Pepper and dandelions as opposed to citrus and pine.

Mouthfeel is light crisp and clean.

Overall one of the better Pyramid beers. There are better pale ales out there but this one is passable.

22 oz bottle. No bottling info

Pours an almost clear golden body with a white head .Some retention lasted till the last sip, some lacing

Not a lot going on in the smell department. A very faint malt, That "Pyramid brewing" malt-yeast thing that I smell in most of their brews

Taste follows in that there really isn't a lot going. A little hop bitterness

I enjoyed the feel but it was a little round for an APA. More like a winter warmer

Overall; To some extent a lot of pyramid beers are alike. This was like a bridge between Snowcap and Thunderhead IPA. It was ok but I won't necessarily seek it out...

Well, it's interesting, I'll give it that.

Dark golden color with a white head. Juuuuust reddish orange.

Not much happening in the nose apart from a bread crust.

Taste is an immediate spicy, bracing hoppiness with a very slight treacly almost bubblegummy note.

Feel is a little sticky & heavy for me.

This is a weird one. I picked it up thinking it was some American advertising chicanery meaning it was a Kölsch. Nope! It finally occurred to me that this is basically a Märzen fermented with an ale yeast. If that sounds like your thing then go for it.
