Clear yellow with abundant white foam in the stemless wine glass. Pleasantly sudsy mouthfeel. This is supposed to be dry hopped with Lemondrop hops and there is an inviting aroma with hints of apricot. There is something vegetal, but in a nice way. Green pepper along with the peachy-citrus flavors.
This is a really nice example of an aromatic but modestly hopped Pale Ale. Appropriate bitter tang in the aftertaste, but you also taste the pale malt and the citrus notes. It's yet another reason to give Pyramid a chance. Maybe it's owned by owned by Florida Ice & Farm Co. but I don't see that it's a threat to the craft brew world. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at The Market in Anacortes.

From the bottle, it pours a clear lemony color with a nice head that slowly diminishes as you enjoy the beer. Light scent of lemon in the nose. In the mouth, it tastes light and refreshing, despite the age of the bottle I found in the basement. Nice!
