Dark gold with a good sized white head.
Smells sweet with a grassy noble hop aroma. Herbal aroma of saffron with some spice to it. Slight sour scent of lemon.
Starts out mildly sweet with a sharp hop bite. Strong hop bite it is decidedly bitter. Warms the stomach and the chest more than I would expect for 7.7% beer. Grass and straw flavors. Medium flavored for a lager.
Mouthfeel is thick.
Overall a decent imp pils.

A half finger of head on a clear, golden colored body with a few bubbles lazily floating up.
The aroma is faint. A little hay and citrus come through.
The taste has a nice boldness to it: moderately lemon bitterness with a good balance of malt, but avoids becoming sweet.
The texture is crisp with moderate carbonation.
A fine drink.
