Variant of Filthy Animal Porter brewed with Hazelnut, Vanilla and Chipotle. Poured into a 330ml tulip glass.
Look: Deep dark colour with cream head that disappeared quickly.
Smell: Coffee and vanilla aromas came through.
Taste: Dominated by the above flavours, but detected a subtle hazelnut element. The chipotle added a very mild heat to the finish.
Feel: Smooth and mellow in the mouth
Overall: My first Boundary beer, definitely not my last. Ideal if you're a chile beer virgin.
