Pours a murky, dark orange coloration with a medium, foamy head. Smells of rather biscuity and slightly caramelly malt and strong white grape and lighter citrus/tropical notes of grapefruit, lime peel and mango. Taste follows the nose, with a great balance of rather biscuity, slightly caramelly malt and a rather dominant, acidic white grape presence, along with lighter zesty citrus tangy tropical fruit notes of grapefruit, lime peel and mango. Finishes somewhat acidic, with a light bitterness and some white grape, lime peel and mango, as well as just a hint of booziness lingering in the aftertaste. Full, creamy mouthfeel with a medium/rich body and medium carbonation, while also featuring an amazing, soft and creamy mouthfeel.
I always like to judge a brewery by their TIPA and this is very well done, feeling neither too sweet nor boozy, although there is a very light booziness coming through in the aftertaste, with very intense and vibrant hop notes. This has got that rather acidic and somewhat zesty flavor profile to it that every Boundary beer has had for me so far, although this is only my third one and they've all contained Nelson Sauvin, which they seem to using to great effect, with the characteristic white grape really coming through here in all of its glory, while also featuring an amazing, soft and creamy mouthfeel.
