440ml can from Centra, Enniskillen (£2.89):
Medium amber but a lot lighter than expected for a Vienna lager. The body is hazy with a few bubbles rising & a 3cm, bubbly white head on top that holds well but leaves some lacing on the glass. Caramel & some sweet bread malts open the nose, I got some faint citrus too & it was quite sharp with a few background fruits & adjuncts but it wasn't particularly enjoyable. The taste is more lager than Vienna for me too, some pale malts & sweet bread ones with hints of caramel & more pronounced citrus but it was all over the place really; some sweetness, a sharp middle & tangy, semi-bitter finish with almost no balance. There's some corn & pine with the odd grassy hop to close but overall a very forgettable beer.
