Copenhagen 20/4 2020. 44 cl can from Ølkassen webshop. Sombre abstract painting on the can in brown, black and blue.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small, bubbly, beige head. Disappears after a minute leaving what looks like a Coca Cola behind. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense. Strong sugary sweetness with a lightly roasted touch. Brown sugar, marshmallows, sweet cherries- Dark roasted malts.
Light carbonation. Thick, viscous, smooth, fat, oily, flat texture.
Flavor is intense. Strong fruity sweetness with almost no bitterness present. Aftertaste is sweet with a prominent presence of alcohol. Light boozy burn in the finish.
Very sweet Imperial Stout - but the sweet slightly tart berries is a good fit. And with solid boozy burn.
