James River Brewery

 

V: The inside of this place is much smaller than expected, but they make good use of the space. It has a few tables and a small bar (with a requisite TV on the wall), as well as beer-to-go cooler. Outside they have an excellent patio, with a whole lot of seating. On the whole, it's a cozy, homey atmosphere.

Q: A high level of quality here - no stale beers.

S: The bartender / owner was very friendly and quite knowledgeable about the brewery's product.

S: A decent selection of beers (all James River's), with a couple of stouts and porters, a blonde, an Irish red ale, a couple of hefeweizens, and your standard IPA. While there's nothing exotic on-tap here, it's a solid range of beer styles.
