This is a pale, lighter bodied ale that is smooth, clean and refreshing. Additions of honey give this a sweeter character as it is fermented clean.
It is brewed with 3 different malts and copious amounts of honey added at the end of the batch. Enjoy this year round.
Nectar is a sugar-rich liquid produced in plants called nectaries, either within the flowers with which it attracts pollinating animals, or by extrafloral nectaries, which provide a nutrient source.
Common nectar-consuming pollinators include bees and butterflies, but also moths, hummingbirds, and bats. Minneapolis is thriving with native deciduous plants that are ripe with nectar. Local honey sources are used as ingredients into this craft beer.

This beer pours a pale straw with a large head. The aroma is sweet and bready, with notes of graham cracker, scones, and baked bread. The flavor is semi rich and a little dirty, with baked bread crust, graham cracker, and a bit of grainy bitterness on the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with plenty of fuzzy carbonation. overall the aroma is very promising here, but the flavor is muddled, like it is trying to be both rich and crisp, but succeeding at neither.

Pours a hazey golden-orange, topped with a pale tan whisp of head, leaving a nice bit of Brussels lace as it drops.
Clean, neutral malt character on the nose, with a touch of wheat malt character at the end.
Soft and a touch sweet on the first sip, and with a softer bittering hop character lingering throughout the drink. Nicely balanced, and the sweetness is not overbearing, neither is the honey character over stated or artificial.
VERY easy-drinking. Not quite dry, but the sweetness being overall lighter than I'd expect in the style, that certainly adds to the drinkability for me. Overall this is a decent, session-worthy pale wheat ale.
Note: Poured from a can. Can states 23 IBU, and 5.0 rather than 5.3% ABV. No date code that I could see.

Slightly hazed pale golden. Decent cap of off white head that dissipates rather quickly. Lace is spotty. Aroma is sweet and bready with some phantom cinnamon. Flavor is pretty even keeled. Light, grainy malts with some sweet honey accents. Very little wheat attributes. Carbonation is low. pretty average.

Hazy light golden color...lacks the clarity you'd look for in a Kolsch.
Sweetish malty aroma with floral hints.
Flavor leans sweet for a Kolsch. I'd just call this a wheat ale. Sure there's some honey impression there.
Drinks smooth. Wouldn't call it particularly clean but a nice drinker without any major flaws (unless you want a textbook Kolsch which I don't think this fits as).

L: Pours orange tinted gold with a thin white cap. S: Honey aromas over light malt. T: Starts with a nice interaction of honey and malt and ends clean and crisp. F: Light to medium light body, medium to medium high carbonation. O: A light, enjoyable and easy to drink Kölsch.
