Appearance: Pours a mostly clear, slightly hazy (70% clarity) light and pale yellow color with a moderate white head. SRM of 6-7. (3.75)

Aroma: Moderate romas of pale malts, yeast, some lemon citrus. (3.50)

Flavor: Moderate flavors of pout, yeast, crackers, and a spritz, lemon, and citrus after the end. Mildly sweet. (3.75)

Feel: Medium body, appropriate, carbonation, slightly zesty in lemony off the finish. (3.50)

Compared to Bahaus Zizkov 12/2023: Pours lighter, hazier, similar head. Milder aromas and flavors. More lemon citrus zest. Less buttery and salty bread notes. Cleaner.

Overall: First is 56 Brewing Crispy Business. Light, zesty, and clean. Pretty good, but leans more toward the German style I think. Needs a little more oomph.

12oz can. Poured out a crystal, clear, straw-yellow color with a small, bubbly head of white foam. It left sudsy sheets of lace on the glass. It smelled of crackers, bread crust, floral notes and citrus. Nice caramel sweetness with toffee and a mild bitterness.

Medium light amber gold look. A bit of a sour malted lemon aroma. A little effervescent spiced malt note at the beginning , then the noble hops come through. A bit thin, though the hops & malt balance out at the end.

12 oz can dated 02/09/21.

Pale gold, almost straw in color. Good clarity with a fluffy white head. Light honey-like malt sweetness in the aroma. Not getting that spicy "pop" from the Saaz hops that I typically associate them with, but still a pleasant hop aroma. Balanced flavor with a rounded Czech Pils feel to it. It's a little on the thin side but very easy to drink. Medium-light bodied with a soft bitterness.

This reminded me of a slightly lighter Pilsner Urquell, not that that is a bad thing. Unoffensive and tasty!

Can. White head. No lace. Clear golden color.

Decent pills, but seems but more Americanized than German. A bit more malty than hoppy and zesty. Crisp and clean. Solid pils.

12oz can. Stamped on can bottom is '02/09/21'.
Clear, pale gold colored body. Thin finger of white head upon pouring, the result is a partial cap. Leaves spaced trails of lacing.
Aroma has bread and floral hops.
Taste is a little sweet with biscuit and floral. Has a little hop spice.
Thinner mouth feel but very clean and crisp. Very good carbonation.
No off flavors and very drinkable. Good choice for food pairing or as a session warm up.

12oz can into a Duvel glass.
Pours a nice clear gold with medium fluffy 1" head, slowly goes down w lacing all around. Med low carbonation.
Nose has some malts and is lightly floral. Not pungent.
Tastes clean clean clean! and crisp with a whisp of bread. A tich more of perfume, caramel, almond, candy corn. Has delicate and welcoming waves to the malt dash.
It is a fast drinking pilz and zestier than it's low carbonation would make one think. Bready notes are late and few. Overall very pleasant.
