32oz growler brought home from a very nice visit last Friday. I really hope to get back up there as much as possible, great beer in a great place.

A- Growler into a few goblets with a mostly clear orange-copper body. The head is foamy and fizzy and rises to just over one finger high with fairly good retention. Spotty lacing is fairly sparse.

S- Pale to amber malts with a touch of light fruit esters from the yeast. The ferment itself seemed to go very clean and works out with this style. Medium caramelized sugars, toast, pale grapes, general yeast bread and a hint of spice.

T- Fairly straightforward and to the point but this style calls for that for the most part. Malts slightly up front with slight sweetness, caramel, toffee, toast and cereal grain notes. White grapes, a hint of raisin and a slight touch of apple for the pale fruits. Generally spicy.

MF- Light-medium bodied overall consistency with a texture that is both creamy and foamy. Very high end carbonation brings that bite one would expect in a Belgian Ale.

A style I wish more people would take a go at. A brew like this shows true skill without having to blast the palate with hop juice or roast. Clean and well performed fermentation and rich malt tones.
