Poured from a recently purchased can production dated 4/19/18.
A - Slightly hazed deep straw color, Gentle carbonation meanders towards the surface. A quick to dissipate froth leaves lots of clinging evidence.
S - Green melon rine, lemongrass, some piney notes as well
T - Follows the nose quite well, add some semi sweet malts, to the mix of slightly bitter tropical fruits, a bit of green apple skins and lemon verbena. This acts well with the semi sweet malts.
M - This has some edges, in a good way. A tug of war between soft water and hop bitterness. The hops and malts are excellent balance. Finish is dry and lingers are fruity.
O - A piney, citrusy, semi sweet start and dry finish are wonderful. The package once opened filled the area with wonderful aromatics. I am glad to have this APA available and so close to home.

From a 1L growler, filled at the brewery a couple of hours ago. Served in a tulip.

Looks like a mimosa - a glass of orange juice with lots of carbonation and a scant finger of bubbly suds. Retention is minimal but leaves some nice thick lacing.

Smell is full-on fruit basket and vanilla cake. Lots of orange, pineapple and dank, weedy hops.

Tastes of orange, pineapple, lemon, mango and melon on a nice thick vanilla cupcake malty base. Dank and weedy as all get-out, turns a little tart at the finish, like Skittles.

Feel is smooth and chewy, medium bodied and brightly carbonated.

It wouldn't have occurred to me that this wasn't a NEIPA if Lawrence hadn't written 'APA' on the board. But, now that you mention it, there is a really very substantial and satisfying poundcake-like malt body here but it's the heavy-handed aromatic hopping that steals all the attention.

Poured from a growler filled at the brewery.

Pours a hazy, orange straw color with half a finger of effervescent white head. The head settles into a bright white halo, leaving very little in the way of lacing.

The aroma brings notes of orange juice, melon, and pineapple. Has a faint peppery spice note on the back end. Faint, but pleasant.

The flavor is pretty close to ridonkulous. Lots of pineapple, orange rind, and honeydew melon, followed by sweet grapefruit. The finish is grassy, piney, and nicely bitter, with a kiss of peppery spice on the back of the tongue. Subtle malt backbone.

The body is light, with moderately high carbonation. A little watery, but very smooth and easy drinking.

Overall, a damn good pale ale that packs an insane amount of flavor. If you called this an IPA I wouldn't bat an eyelash. I want this in cans so I can put my liver out of its misery.

Had this on tap at the Foundry in Northampton, MA. The beer had a pale, murky yellow color with thin lacing on the sides. Aromas were pretty rich and strong with orange citrus and other fruits like apricots. Very nice balanced taste came through with the bittersweet citrus flavor. Carbonation was highly crisp. Overall, this was an awesome drink by this place, particularly its aroma.

As good as a pale ale can get. Ridiculously chewy mouthfeel for a 5.5% beer. Completely opaque, golden straw color. May get a little more mellow and balanced with age, but this is right in my wheelhouse. Easily in my top 3 pale ales of all time. It's as if the hop schedule of a beer like headroom was applied to a pale ale.
