On draft - Dark reddish brown color with notes of dried fruits, toasted bready malts, subtle char, herbal earthy floral hops, some caramel, toffee, burnt sugars, mild chocolate, fig, dates, apricot, medium bodied, crisp and smooth

Sample at bayberry beer hall, short review. My first of the style so I’m not sure what to expect
Pours a creamy amber brown, fingg fb er of tan head and good lacing
Nose is light toasted malt, English hops, and milk chocolate
Rich creamy malt, toasted rye bread, very light floral hops up front. On the swallow, toasted bread, mild spicy hops, and a hint of chocolate
A medium body pairs with moderate carbonation, resulting in a very smooth and highly drinkable
Really fucking good, wish there were more examples of the style around. Wanna sit down with a full pint of this and review it properly

On tap at Armsby Abbey in Worcester, MA.
This one pours a brilliantly golden brown hue, with a thick white head, and lots of lacing.
This smells really wonderful, with some dark pumpernickel breadiness, wheat, tea-like hops, chocolate, roast, and just a touch of chocolate.
This is basically as good as it gets for this style. It's so unbelievably creamy tasting, with the malt character as balanced and delicious as you could imagine. The brewery was completely off my radar, but now I need to try more of their stuff. It definitely helps that the draft system at Armsby is great, but it's still a wonderful beer. The malt has so many little complexities - pumpernickel bread, crackers, chocolate, and rye, with a touch of tea-like hop bitterness, and maybe some floral character as well.
This is creamy and rich, and super drinkable. It drinks much bigger than the lower ABV would suggest.
This is exactly what a session beer should be. It's nearly perfect for the style.

Had this on tap at Seymour in Greenfield, MA. Reddish-like black appearance with a white head. Lightly roasted malt aromas. Decently bitter with malt and caramel flavors. Nice and dry mouthfeel. Overall, great taste and mouthfeel.

Poured from a can dated 1/23/18 into the pint glass
A - Mahogany colored, nice clarity , steady carbonation rises to feed a resilient off white cap.
S - Earthy hops supported by delightful light roast grains, some walnut, and the slightest hint of cocoa powder
T - Dark wheat toast, just a touch of brown sugar and light molasses, autumnal in many aspects
M - Medium in body, well carbonated, start is semi sweet, then a quick shift to a dryer feel, the balance of hop bite and malts is near perfect.
O - What a delight to enjoy, enough heft in the body, flavors abound focused on a lightly roast malt profile, the hop use is well played. All in all a real treat of a beer from Brick and Feather.
