Poured from a small growler purchased at the brewery yesterday, into the test glass
A - Dark as a hobbit house at night, with gentle carbonation, a thin off white cap can be coaxed out.
S - Bakers chocolate, sweet dark malts, maple sugar, hint of medium roast coffee
T - Follows the nose well, the mash up of maple and cocoa are sweet but not in the bad way, delightful base beer has all the roasted malts to keep things interesting
M - Hefty body on this with a slick feel, sweet and dark to start then a maple candy drop happens, followed by strong malt base with cocoa powder.
O - A very good tangent from the base porter, sweet, but balanced well
