On tap at Armsby Abbey. Poured a deep deep brown with a beautiful off-white head. Really pretty beer. Nose of char, chocolate, toffee, and a little bit of grassy zest. Flavor profile is deeply roasted malt that fades into burnt cocoa with with noble hops lingering underneath. This beer packs a ton of delicious flavors into a very drinkable package. Highly recommended.

16iz can from Tavour. Dark brown pour with a fine foamy beige head. Aroma is light roasted malts, hint of chocolate, burnt toast. Taste is light roast, chocolate, coffee and minor sweetness. Nice feel. Spot on.

Had it at a restaurant served in a mug. Smooth and mellow. Nice dark complex flavors without being overwhelming. Just a very satisfying beer to drink.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated 5/21/21, into the pilsner glass.
A - Dark cola colored backdrop, hides the very active carbonation. The initial pour yielded a lovely off white loose knit froth.
The caps exit was relatively quick. Lacing is in Cirrus cloud form.
S - Subtle in this area, a bit of cola, dark malts, milk chocolate, anise, earthy/noble hops.
T - Very much follows the nose, with an added kiss of roast malts, kiss of smoke.
M - Stellar, semi dry start, stays that way through the experience, Lite-medium on the palate, with a beautiful clean finish. Stays in a tight lane.
O - A very good dark lager, excellent texture, aroma, and flavors. An easy drinking beer that leaves you with room and desire for another.
