This lovely beer is an exercise in balance and drinkability. Using a blend of North American and British malts, classic northwest hops (CTZ, Centennial, Chinook, & Simcoe), expect a clean bitterness, and the classic piney, resinous, & citrus aromas characteristic of the style.

Pours a medium yellow color with a thin head that dissipates to a residual ring. I'm not a big fan of the mix of hops here - it calls itself a West Coast Pale Ale but I think it fails to meet that goal. While it's not a bad beer, I doubt I'll be buying it again.

Golden clear beer. Modest base-poured head. Rim bubbles remain but leave little lacing (a spot or two).
Mild, but well-blended malt-hop nose. Dry.
The body leans rich for the style with an appropriate level of carbonation. The malt is brief and dry. There’s a bit of caramel. The dominates in a west coast way. Nothing extreme here, just a well made American Pale Ale.
