500 ml bottle, 2017 release purchased at the Goodwood Taproom, 019 stamped on the front label. Served in a snifter, the beer pours a brownish/red color with about a half inch light tan head that didn't stay around for very long. Not much lacing, either. Aroma is sweet, the brew smells like honey, bourbon, vanilla, and some dark fruit. Taste is similar to the aroma, but with the addition of some toffee and caramel flavors. It's a little boozy, but not too bad. It's definitely a sweeter tasting brew that gets better as it warms. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's a bit slick and has moderate carbonation. I thought this was a good overall brew, recommend this one if you're into sweeter tasting strong ales! I'm pretty sure the bottles are only sold at the taproom, but I'm not 100% sure of that.
