Bold hop flavor and aroma from five different hop varietals is front and center in this flavorful India Pale Ale. Aromas ranging from citrus to pine to stone fruit are generated from synergistic hop additions in both the kettle and the fermenter.

Draft at Goodwood - O'Fallon, MO. Poured a clear, golden amber color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled piney with orange, caramel and toffee. Sweet malty taste with toasted caramel and a piney bitterness.

I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery in Indanapolis as part of a four sample flight. It poured a clear golden with very little head that did not leave any lace. The scent had citrus and bittering hop notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with crisp semi sweet malt base with citrus, hints of pine and bold finish hop presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Pours a mostly clear copper color with a nice white head. Resiny pine and citrus on the nose and those notes are featured on the taste as well. Nice balanced IPA.
Mouthfeel is medium and a bit dry, very drinkable. Nice fridge IPA.

Stepping away from their woodsy ways doesn't mean that their beer's don't take on a woodsy tone. Laced with sprucy hops, this fruity and floral IPA keeps Goodwood genuine.
Their flagship IPA kicks off with a honey gold, light amber and slightly orange tinted hue. Caught in a slight hazy gaze, the IPA kicks off with a highly floral and fruity perfume of flower bouquet, juicy fruit bubblegum and potpourri. Sweeter up front, the beer greets the tongue with caramel, honeysuckle, granola and a soft graham cracker character.
As the hops develop on the middle palate, a full and fruity flavor pulls from the floral scent and captures an essence of pink grapefruit, mandarin orange, papaya, mango, pawpaw and strawberry with a sweetness of dragonfruit. As the hops continue to transition, they trend spicy with hop bitterness in the impressions of pine, peppery grasses and a sharp fruity rind character.
Medium bodied and seemingly slightly British-like because of its pronounced ester profile, the IPA is reminiscent of early American IPAs with those English influences. It finishes decidedly on the bitter side of bitter-sweet with a long aftertaste of spruce and citrus.

On tap at Craft& Draft
Clear dark copper, two fingers white head
Full curtains of lacing, full cap
Overripe grapefruit, pine, yeast aromas
Piney bitter, grapefruit, vegetal pepper flavors
Bitter bordering on astringent start, dry finish, good carbonation.
Nothing offensive, but not memorable.
