Pours from the crowler a deep clear ruby red with a quick to fade beige colored head atop,not much head but great color clarity.Hop complexity abounds in the nose,melon,citrus,and pine resin battle for supremacy wich makes for a great nose,some brown sugar and caramel underneath.Just a tad thin for a beer this big but it's not bad.Citrus and resinious hop flavors up front on the palate with a hefty sweet caramel and brown sugar malt base,a bit of sweet alcohol in the finish.A really nice big hop upped amber with a terrific hoppy aroma.
