Bottle form the brewery
Nearly a jet black colour with a ring of tan head and no lace. Smell has a touch of smoke, dark chocolate and to a lighter extent coffee, lightly roasted malt. Taste has a light roast coffee and bittersweet chocolate, a bit of anise and smoke toward the finish with a lingering roasty aftertaste. Light-medium carbonation with a light medium body. Pretty enjoyable and easy drinking.
