Served at cellar temperature from 330ml bottle into American nonic pint glass.
L) Very dark reddish brown / black colour, opaque, started with 1cm fluffy biscuit off-white head, which dissipated quickly to thin film.
S) Alcohol, simcoe(?) hops maybe some dark malt hiding at the back. No porter.
T) Moderate burnt malt flavour, with strong side flavour of some simcoe hop bitterness. Certainly some malt sweetness to balance it all.
F) Pleasant muted carbonation, only other aspect to note is a pleasant burnt bitterness to the aftertaste.
O) This is a hoppy porter and its ok, but there are better examples out there.

Bottled
Colour body nice thick off white head
aroma of coffee, molasses & treacle
Quite an at first deceptive flavour
starts malty bread mellows to creme coffee then bitters with a nice hard charcoal edge bitterness
Slightly
and I mean ever so so slightly thinner than I would have guessed
Good stuff actually
