Shared 750 ml bottle at local tasting. ABV is 11.2%. Pitch black colour, minimal tan head. Roasty aroma, chocolate, coffee, a whiff of vomit which fortunately does not last. Hints of molasses and liquorice. Distinctly roasty flavour with notes of liquorice and roast malts, also coffee and dark chocolate. Good, but not brilliant.

750ml bottle July 2016. Very well balanced and executed imperial stout. Dark brown pour with little head. Light carbonation. Classic big imperial smell, taste has deep sugars balanced with the hops and alcohol making it eminently drinkable without being overpowering. Recommended.
