Pours an opaque pale-orange that looks like a young nectarine. Head foams up to about two fingers in height and retains well for a while and then suddenly dissipates rapidly. Aroma is nectarine, mango, herbal, lime, lemon floral, pine and spicy hops. There is a clean cut of hop burn across the back that splits the hops and detracts from a well-connected aroma. Flavor profile is nectarine, lime, lemon, guava, mango and resiny pine hops. There is little beyond the hops save for a tiny spritz of young bread yeast at the back of the throat. Mouth feel is still with a modest creaminess that gets swept away by a lightly carbonated finish. It has a medium thickness. Overall, big hops, which is no surprise, but with a little disconnect from the front to the back.

Served in a 15.5oz Speigalau tulip from a 3.5 UK units can.

I'm sorry, but this beer is a bit of a mess. It has the right look and feel for the style it's working towards. Here's the rub, major flaws in the aroma. I think it may have been rushed because I am getting hints of bandaid that should have been cleaned up. Besides that I get some grass and maybe a little bit of citrus on the nose, but mostly just off notes. The flavor is better than I expected but not up to snuff with the quality beers I expect from OH. I do get some hints of citrus, melon and maybe pineapple, but the smell is so off that it's hard for me to really enjoy this beer. Overall I feel like this could have been amazing but something went wrong somewhere. I wanted to love this one, but after two cans my initial reaction to this beer didn't change.

Extremely hazy and pale yellow color with white head, looks gorgeous. Aroma has grassy hop notes, some pears and some melon but also a light nutty note. Taste is mostly grassy and green, really hoppy, dank vegetal with a light grapefruit pith bitterness on the finish. Full bodied, well carbonated, really smooth. Quite different from other NE IPAs but it really hits the spots for me.

Porridge, cut grass, kronik, mint, hint of peach, and grapefruit. 4.25
Ringing linger.
Round, smooth, slick. 4

That crazy green vegetal/pot thing again - pretty sure now that’s just super freshness. Juicy, but also plenty of resin. OH's New England expertise on show. Pounds Saturate into the dirt. 4.5
