CAN
Shining cloudy daisy yellow under white carpet. 4
Super greasy lemon peel and a ton of hop greenery. 4.25
Touch of cracker, candied grapefruit, green mango, apricot, grass, herb, and mint. 4.25
Grass and berry linger.
Light, oily, smooth. 4

Citra + Mosaic

Canned Sept. 19; into its 5th week on earth. Straight bouncy citrus with flecks of green. A super easy drinker. Lighter, spritzier, paler, and sharper than CAT. The funner beer, if less accomplished. 4.5

If I’m guessing the difference between the pair is the hop balance, than Taco is the one with more Citra.

Also, my 2600th review!

Edit: Taco’s US hops came by direct air freight to the UK; that follows - shiny top notes of hop flavour are all in place.

At 2 yo: Citrus with some real brightness. Not nearly as dead as you'd expect. Fresh hops matter.

Really hazy peach color with off-white head. Aroma is really juicy, dank and grassy with some melon, guava and overripe apricot sweetness. Taste has sweet tropical fruits, melon, passionfruit, grassy and dank hops, awesome hop profile overall. Light bitterness and astringency on the finish. Medium body and carbonation. It has a light hop burn on the finish and lingers on the aftertaste but overall it's a great NE style IPA.
