440ml Can from Cloudwater Online Shop (£4.00):
Excellent stuff as always from Cloudwater, this one was a beer that had initially confused me into thinking it was going to be a helles with a mandarin kick given the name but there was at least some touches of orange & citrus coming through on top of what was a very fresh & balanced lager. The beer was a pleasure to drink & went down very well with some nice floral hops & biscuit flavours further on as well as the usual lager malts & grassy hops.

A 440ml can, canned on 19th January 2018 and with a best before date of end of June 2018. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.
Appearance: A clear golden colour with an almost three finger white head that dissipated fairly quickly, but left some nice sticky lacing.
Aroma: Biscuit crackery malt and grass with light citrusy mandarin peel, rind and grains.
Taste: Lightly sweet, cracker malt, biscuit, grass, grainy with a very light mandarin rind and floral touch.
Mouthfeel: Soft, smooth, light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.
Overall: I’m not fond of the floral flavours, but otherwise, it was clean and balanced.

Can. Large white head. Color is an orange hued gold. Crisp, clean, easy drinking. Bready pils malts. Earthy and citrusy hops. A bit of fruitiness. Light bodied. A well done Helles lager with some nice flavor.

Pours a clear yellow, with fine, soapy head.
Smell is crackery and bready with nice malt sweetness and some floral hops.
Taste s crackery and very clean and crisp. Slight hint of floral hops, very crushable.
Mouthfeel is thin, with plenty of prickly bubbles.
Overall, a very clean Helles, easy to drink and well made.
