Blonde haze; cat + grapefruit; speck of porridge, then honeydew, green mango, apricot, lime, a touch of grass, nettle sorbet linger.

NEIPA on all counts. This. Is. Citra. 5 weeks in the can. Dead smooth. All the more impressive at 5.5%. What else can I say?
My 2900th rating.

Pours a juicy yellow color, completely unfiltered, with a foamy, medium sized head.
Smell is defined by flowery, fresh squeezed lime, which got a luscious note of exotic fruits to it. Offers accompanying ripe peaches and oranges, together with a big chunk of pineapple, creating an inviting complexity on the nose.
Has a lower, well fitting carbonation among a light but smooth body, which sparkles up during its finish.
Tastes of crackers and bread dough, coating fruity lime zest, which carefully produces a bitter quality, which increases continuosly. Develops additional kiwi, passion fruit and unripe banana, adding perfectly into the taste foundation by establishing a light sweetness and an even more pronounced hop complexity. Finishes with a light, herbal hop bite and a great tasting mix of tropical fruits, enhancing the lemon appearance in this, which stays on the palate till the very end.
This is incredibly well made, with a great balance and striking complexity. Not sure I‘ve ever had a better tasting hazy ipa from a european brewery.
