What happens when worlds collide? This experiment brewed with our good friends from Verdant in Falmouth brings together the hot side hop profile of a West Coast IPA with a New England-style dry hop and yeast. Resinous notes and pithy bitterness are layered with stone fruits and a moreish, soft juiciness. Call it a Midwest IPA, if you will!
Aroma & Flavour: Bursting with juicy fruit flavours, resinous and bitter on the mid palate.
Body: Smooth and full, with a thickness that resembles a DIPA.
Aftertaste: Soft juicy finish, tangy stone fruit, light bitterness.

A 16 ounce can from Colin. This was a little different from the other cloudwater beers I brought back, not quite as hazy, and more of a typical IPA. Solid malts and fruity hoppy notes throughout. Hint of citrus.

L very much like orange juice with white foam
S green hops, pine, fruity
T some sweetness upfront then grapefruit, clementine, nice green bitterness
F medium body, fine carbonation
As advertised a nice combination of NEIPA and West Coast IPA. NEIPA brings the body and sweetness and WC IPA brings the piney and grapefruity hops. Nice one.

Really hazy deep golden color with beige head. Aroma has ripe peaches, orange rind and mango. Taste starts with a light red grapefruit bitterness, stonefruits, tangerines and hop resin in the background. Bitterness grows towards the finish and lingers on the aftertaste with grapefruit rind flavor. Thick body with smooth mouthfeel and just the right amount of CO2. An excellent combination of juicy but also resiny hops.
