This Pilsner features new season Motueka in the kettle for flavour and a satisfying bitterness, and as a light dry hop for brightness. We fermented with a German Bock yeast for its clean flavour and crisp finish.

Aroma & Flavour: Clean, delicate Pilsner malt flavour, lemon aroma with floral and herbal notes
Body: Medium body, crisp and bright
Aftertaste: Restrained lingering bitterness, dry finish

Copenhagen 1/6-2019. 44 cl can from Crate, Jægersborggade, Kbh N. Murky, abstract landscape in yellow and brown with little pictogram of a Cloud.

Pours slightly unclear, golden yellow with a big, white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer and crawling up the sides of the glass.

Aroma is medium intense, fruity and fresh. Pear and Peach, light malty sweetness. Fresh Grass and Citrus. Light dry presence.

Light carbonation. Thin, watery and lightly prickly texture.

Flavor is medium sweet followed by a stronger bitterness with sourish notes. Aftertaste is bitter with a light sour undercurrent. Lingers for a bit. Semi-dry finish.

Pretty crisp and with a good bitterness. Some Modern hops have found their way (the modern twist on the classic style, I assume).

16 oz can from Colin. Sparkling gold pour with a one finger fluffy head. I know pils isn't the sexiest style but this beer had it buttoned down in all the right places. Grainy aroma, hint of hops. Taste starts and finishes with the hops . Creamy body with a hint of lemon. Damn tasty.

Pours a clear yellow with two fingers of thick, fluffy head.

Smell is light and bready with some floral notes and some citrus.

Taste is clean, crisp and light. Biscuity base upon which a moderate, floral bitterness rests, before a dry finish. Very refreshing.

Mouthfeel is thin to medium, well carbonated.

Overall, a really nice, easy to drink and refreshing pilsner.
