a tangy and tart brut ipa that is apparently actually a blend of a tropical fruited sour and a brut ipa with grape juice and champagne yeast, i think the result is tasty, if in a little bit of an identity crisis. i would expect nothing else from these two breweries in a collaboration! hazy and lively with passion fruit, pineapple, and white wine all evident immediately in the nose. i like it being dry and hoppy at the same time that its decidedly vinous and fruity and juicy and ripe, the fruit seems natural, strong as it obviously is in here, and the hops seem to balance it well, a little bitterness, and some alcohol in the mix too. the flavor is fresh and juicy, passion fruit and melon sweetness to me up front, with a citra type hop complexion coming on a little later, oily and dry hoppy, but not as intense as some, and really not over the top for all thats going on in here, i think tamed some by the light lemony acidity in here, a neat textural twist for sure. for all the fruit and hops going on, i also like that the yeast can be appreciated as something different, drying and with a cool pineapple and sauvignon blanc ester to it, real compelling. crazy flavorful beer that comes in waves, feels amazingly lively, and sort of drinks like white sangria. yummy for summertime!

Pours a hazy orange with fine, quickly dissipating foam.
Smell is slightly tart and juicy with notes of peach, yeast, white wine, coconut and green tea.
Taste is refreshing and a bit tart. Hints of sweetness precedes notes of grapes, green tea, passionfruit and white, dry wine, along with a slight yeastiness.
Mouthfeel is medium and soft, with sparkling carbonation.
Overall, a very interesting beer, with a few layers to it. Very tasty.

Hazy golden color with a bit of white foam. Aroma has dank passion fruit and quite funky yeast notes. Taste is tart and fruity with passion fruit, lemon, some biscuit sweetness and the finish has a light grassy hop bitterness. Interesting combination of flavors but the end result is a bit unbalanced.
