this is really splendid beer, maybe my favorite hoppy one i have ever had from cloudwater, which i realize is not nearly enough beer, but man was this one special. really one of the best expressions of nelson hops i have known, and a reminded or why this one is so coveted! i love it in this heavy dry hop context, and i love it on its own, quite a bit more versatile than it ever gets credit for being, and even though this is juice driven, it still remains balanced with a spot of green hop bitterness late. it looks like orange juice with a creamy white head, like almost artificially colored, so bright in the glass, uniformly hazy but without visible sediment, rather dense, but so pretty with this glow and hue. aroma is all nelson, and if youve ever known it even a little bit, its obvious what it is right away, i smell it from the other side of the bar as she pours it even, kind of fills the room. pineapple and tangerine and white wine and lemongrass to it, all there is fresh and juicy in the flavor as in the aroma, pulpy orange juice, meyer lemon, papaya, and even a passion fruit thing as well, its so tropical and distinctive, a new school frosty sativa sort of fruity finish, mouthwatering for not being sour, and all the grain in here is fully in service of the hops. its starchy and likely contains some oats, creamy feeling almost and pretty big. it has a long flavor trajectory as a result, which i love, they really stretch it out so the full glory of the nelson can be savored, and thats exactly what i do here. i had a blast drinking this, found it oily and slick and hefty in feel, impossibly true to nelson in taste, and just delicious. among the best beers i had while i was in london!

Really hazy golden color with off-white head. Intense juicy hops, fruity and tropical. Taste has fruity hop notes with mellow bitterness. Another nice hazy IPA from Cloudwater.
