Inspired by the classic, easy-drinking Pale Ales of America’s West Coast, this is a style where balance between punchy, aromatic hop notes and solid drinkability is key. A clean, dry, lightly resinous and bitter finish sets this beer apart from its hazy counterparts.

Seville orange, light caramel, white peach and big resinous hop notes
Body:
Light-medium body with a long, dry finish

Pours a clear, golden amber coloration with a large, frothy head. Smells of biscuity, slightly caramelly malt and resnious hops, with notes of grapefruit and pine. Taste is a great balance of biscuity, very slightly caramelly malt and bitter, resinous hops, with notes of grapefruit, lime zest and pine. Finishes quite dry, with a medium bitterness and some grapefruit and pine lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a light body and medium carbonation.
A very nice Pale Ale with a great West Coast feel to it thanks to its dry, bitter and resinous character with lots of pine and lighter citrus notes coming through, backed up by lighter, slighty sweet'ish malt. Perhaps a little light-bodied and the citrus notes could be punchier, but what do you expect from a 5% Pale Ale? A very enjoyable brew for what it is, as always with Cloudwater.

Pours a dark amber with soft, fluffy head.
Smell is citrusy and piney with a bit of resin and a hint of sweet malt.
Taste is piney and citrusy with a powerful bitterness, but not overwhelming. Still very refreshing with a nice, semi sweet and resiny finish.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice pale ale, very much of the west coast style.

Canned in a crafty craft can and purchased from the local Bargain Booze
Pours a fairly clear golden body with good white head
Aroma ultra sharp grapefruit & battery acid lemonade
Intense bitterness which is what the west coast brewing scene was all about
A bit one dimensional but far from dull

Underwhelmed. Considering how much it cost from the offy and this brewery's rep, I was hopeful of more. Very standard stuff. It isn't an unpleasant beer by any means but it isn't worth the money. Quite generic and very similar to stuff you will have tried from a hundred other breweries.
