This is our interpretation of a modern Imperial IPA, combining the pithy bitterness and dry finish that are hallmarks of West Coast Imperial IPAs, with sticky, juicy fruit flavours more readily associated with a hazy DIPA. It’s brewed to be impactful and uncompromising, yet remarkably easy-drinking and clean.

Grain of salt review b/c of 5oz but this was a decent mix of old/new school that I felt leaned bitter enough to be more old school to my enjoyment.

Pours a fairly clear golden orange with soft, fine head.
Smell is juicy, fruity and hoppy with notes of pine, pineapplecitrus and lemongrass.
Taste is juicy but with pronounced bitterness. Very hoppy and slightly boozy with notes of pine, grapefruit and orange peel. Great balance, and tons of flavor.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft, pillowy and well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice modern DIPA, sort of a cross between NE and WC, a mix Cloudwater are great at.
