The idea for this Cherry Cola Sour evolved from our original plan to create a more straightforward Cherry Sour, as our brew team were keen to build on recent experiments with the use of zest and spice additions. It's soured using mixed-fermentation beer from our barrel programme and includes additions of cherry juice, orange peel and a blend of spices, designed to replicate the flavours of a rustic cherry cola.
Aroma & Flavour: Fresh cherry juice, cola bottle sweets, subtle spice profile, cocoa powder
Body: Tart and tangy with a light body and dry finish
Aftertaste: Sour cherry compote and light vanilla sweetness

16 oz can from Colin. Violet colored pour, wispy head. Big burst of cherries in the aroma. Taste tones it down a bit, but picks up more of the sought after cherry cola notes.
