Brewed with the team from our London taproom, 73 Enid Street, Nazerbier is a tribute to our very own Helpful George. This Coffee Porter is designed to imitate George's drink of choice - a black Americano. It uses the very same espresso blend from Brewtal Coffee London that the 73 Enid Street team drank together while setting up the bar. Proceeds will be donated to SUDEP Action, dedicated to raising awareness of epilepsy risks. See you later, sunshine. This one is for you.

Pours a pitch-black coloration with a large, creamy, stable head. Smell is dominated by roasted malt and coffee, with lighter notes of dark, bitter chocolate and just a hint of cinnamon and cardamon. Taste follows the nose, being dominated by roasted malt and coffee, as well as notes of cinnamon, cardamon and just a hint of red berries that come from those pronounced coffee notes, along with somewhat lighter dark, bitter chocolate, toffee and tobacco. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some roasted malt and coffee lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth, almost creamy mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
An excellent coffee porter with rich roasted malt and coffee notes and a good balance of sweet and bitter notes of toffee and chocolate, along with the spicy and slightly fruity notes that come from high-quality coffee used.

Pours jet back with thick, light brown head.
Smell is very coffee-focused, with notes of both brewed and ground coffee, along with hints of chocolate and red berries.
Taste keeps the coffee hitting hard, adding notes of chocolate-covered coffee beans, along with fruity notes of red berries and a hint of sweetness and bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium, smooth and well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice coffee porter. Porters are usually not a favorite of mine, but this was very tasty, indeed.
