Imagine savouring a moment of peace with a bowl full of rich, luxurious pudding at the end of a hectic Christmas Day. This luscious Imperial Stout captures both the indulgence and relaxation of the festive season, using additions of allspice, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, orange zest and vanilla to recreate a decadent Christmas dessert. Yule love it.
Aroma & Flavour: Deep flavours of treacle, dates and raisins, supported by cinnamon and nutmeg, rounded off by brown sugar and smooth vanilla
Body: Sweet and sticky, yet smooth and silky
Aftertaste: Toasted fruitcake, accompanied by lasting notes of clove and bright orange zest

Pours jet black with soft, chocolate colored foam.
Smell is spicy and sweet with notes of cloves, cardamom, figs, cinnamon, orange, mulled wine and hints of coffee and vanilla.
Taste is intense, sweet and spicy. Notes of cinnamon, cloves, dates, figs, mulled wine, fruity candied orange, brown sugar and a hint of banana. A lot going on, but it works well together.
Mouthfeel is medium to full, smooth and well carbonated.
Overall, a beer that should be way too full of spice for me, but it really works.
