Brewed with our friends De Garde from Tillamook, Oregon, this oak-aged Wild Ale blends flavours reminiscent of white wine, cider and lambic. It's nuanced and layered while still retaining a crisp, refreshing character. Initially fermented with a mixed-culture wine yeast in steel, it then underwent secondary fermentation in foudre with De Garde's house culture, spending a total of 30 months in oak.
Aroma & Flavour: Tart gooseberry and light pineapple, leading to a crisp white wine character and prominent flavour of dry cider, underpinned by farmhouse accents
Body: Light-medium with a crisp, dry finish and restrained sourness
Aftertaste: Flavours of white grape skins and green apple lace a tannic finish, underlying cereal notes

My 100th Cloudwater and 3000th beer overall.
Pours an unclear light orange with very little head.
Smell is crisp and tart with notes of peach, nectarine, citrus, oak, dry white wine and some peppery hints.
Taste is tart and vinous with notes peach, grapes and dry white wine. Crisp pepperiness and hints of citrus, apples and pears. Very refreshing with some restrained oak notes on the finish.
Mouthfeel is thin to medium with effervescent carbonation.
Overall, a very nice sour, quite vinous and cider-like.
