We feel privileged to be able to select our own hops at source in New Zealand. Often more subtle and nuanced than their North American relatives, these varietals cover an impressively wide spectrum of flavours, each with its own highly-unique character. Waimea takes the spotlight in this single-hopped Pale Ale, providing everything from citrus and tropical fruit aromatics, to floral notes and powerful pine.
Aroma & Flavour: Mango and lychee, followed by light notes of violet and resinous hop flavours
Body: Light-medium, sweet and smooth
Aftertaste: Sherbet lemon boiled sweets and lingering resinous notes

Pours a pale orange with soft, fine head.
Smell is fruity and floral with notes of citrus, peach, gooseberries and some rose water.
Taste is soft and fruity with some floral hints. Notes of mango, citrus, gooseberries and a soft bitterness. Very crisp and refreshing.
Mouthfeel is thin, well carbonated.
Overall, another very tasty low ABV pale by Cludwater.
