Copenhagen 18/9 2022. 44 cl can from Kihoskh, Sønder Boulevard, Kbh. V. Very colorful orange can with some abstract geometric forms in red and green. Could be the cover of modern grammar book. Colorful and slightly boring.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a big beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a dark roasted, sweet scent mingling with a coffee bitter odor. Dark roasted malts, toffee and hints of brown sugar. Bitter espresso coffee.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, yet tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with medium strong sweetness followed and balanced by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Finish is rather dry.
Elegant and well-balanced and rather dry Stout.

440ml Cloudwater Online Shop (£2.82):
Jet black & thick with a bubbly, dark tan coloured head on top that fades to a thin, patchy surface lacing but leaves some lacing on the sides too. The nose is dark with toasted malts, faint nutty notes & some chocolate notes & a coffee bitterness. It's balanced with more coffee on the taste, its lively & well carbonated too with some chocolate malts, faint sweetness & caramel around the middle with roasted malts to close. It's medium bodied & fairly smooth as well.

Pours a pitch-black coloration with a medium, frothy head. Smells of roasted, slightly caramelly malt with notes of dark bitter chocolate and coffee, as well as hints of tobacco. Taste follows the nose, with a great balance of quite roasted, slightly caramelly malt and dark, bitter chocolate and coffee notes, as well as just a hint of tobacco and dark fruit and spice, with some light herbal hops, raisin and cinnamon accents. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some roasted malt, coffee and tobacco lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
This is a rather roasted, bitter and slightly smokey, herbal and fruity Stout that is rather enjoyable, but perhaps a little lacking in the body and mouthfeel department. Still rather nice though, given the the ABV, with a good balance.

Pours a dark brown with fine, airy foam the color of milk chocolate.
Smell is roasty and quite fruity with notes of cocoa, coffee, dried fruit and a hint of cinnamon.
Taste is roasty with upfront notes of cocoa and coffee grounds. Behind are fruity notes of dried fruit and a hint of spice. Soft bitterness and a long finish.
Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.
Overall, a very nice stout with plenty of flavor for the ABV.
