Rich, smooth malt flavours find harmony with tart fruit notes and a warming spice presence in this spiced Imperial Sour. Evocative of a Devil's Share cocktail, this highly-original, malt-forward beer was soured gently over four months in bourbon barrels and given additions of allspice, ginger and nutmeg. It both enlivens the senses and demands you take time to explore its nuances.

Pours a dar reddish brown with very little, if any, head.
Smell is spicy and sweet with notes of raisins, coffee, ginger, wood and a hint of mint.
Taste is sweet and a bit fruity, with spicy notes of ginger, wood, vermouth and licorice. Hints of coffee, chocolate and a bit of bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium, smooth and well carbonated.
Overall, an interesting cocktail-inspired beer, that manages to be easy to drink despite it's heft.
