This is our garden,
both of us just visiting.
Buds, and fresh new growth.
Aroma & Flavour: Smooth orange juice and pulped mango, leading to sticky marmalade with some honey notes coming through.
Body: Seriously full-bodied and sweet with a thick, fruit juice character.
Aftertaste: Lingering flavour of marmalade without the zest, backed up by peppery notes and a dank hop character.

Pours a dark orange with creamy, soft head.
Smell is hoppy and intense, with a malty sweetness and notes of pine, grapefruit, caramel and orange marmalade.
Taste is soft but powerful. Sweet, biscuity malt and strong piney notes combine with dashes of orange marmalade, grapefruit, toffee, dried fruit, honey and some floral hints. Quite a bit of warming booze, but never too much. Solid bitterness, with a hint of grapefruit rind.
Mouthfeel is thick, chewy and sticky, well carbonated.
Overall, an outstanding barley wine. Cloudwater calls it a modern barley wine and I'd agree. This seems like an update on what came before, with perfect balance and more flavor than should be allowed. Cloudwater just cement their standing as the best brewery in the world in my opinion.

Pours a hazy, rather dark orange coloration with a large, fluffy, lasting head that leaves spidery lacing as it slowly recedes. Smells of rich bready and caramelly malt and resinous hops, with notes of toffee, orange marmalade and pine, as well as hints of honey and tropical hops. Taste follows the nose, with a perfect balance of rich and sweet bready, caramel malt and bitter and somewhat dank and resinous hops, with notes of toffee, orange marmalade, pine, grapefruit, mango, heather honey and peppery spice. Finishes bittersweet, with a medium bitterness and some toffee, orange marmalade and pine lingering in the aftertaste. Thick, creamy mouthfeel with a rich body and low/medium carbonation.
An incredible and rather American Barleywine that is quite hoppy, but with a rich malt presence as well. In fact it is the perfect balance of sweet, rich malts, toffee, honey and bitter, zesty, dank and resinous hops which makes this so amazing, although the hops are probably somewhat dominant here, which is just the way I like it personally, while this also features a sublime, rich and creamy mouthfeel. Defintely the best Barleywine that I have ever had, but then again, I was never a huge of the overly sweet, traditional English Barleywines, while this is just perfect for my palate.
