Crop Year 2019 series #12: Mosaic Single Hop IPA
For many people, the past few months have shattered norms, leaving only fragments of our previous lives.
With some patience and with something beautiful in mind we can align these fragments into something delightful. With time and a small change in perspective, there aren’t just broken pieces in front of us, but also building blocks. In time, just the right shape will reveal itself.

Pours a hazy, orange coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of biscuity malt and juicy, zesty citrus and lighter tropical hops, with notes of grapefruit, mango and passion fruit, as well as just a hint of pine. Taste is an excellent balance of biscuity malt and expressive, juicy citrus and tropical hops, with zesty notes of grapefruit and lime peel and sweet mango and passion fruit, as well as just a hint of herbal dankness and pine. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some grapefruit, mango and pine lingering in the aftertaste. Soft, pillowy mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
This is a great single-hop IPA that shows off Mosiac's range beautifully, with some rather expressive zesty citrus and sweet tropical notes, as well as somewhat herbal, dank and piney accents, although I'm not getting a lot of blueberry from this. Not my favorite single-hop Mosaic IPA, to be honest, but up there.
