The purists might want to look away now.
We believe beer should be fun, and how much fun can you really have when you always follow the rules? So we took the humble Hefe-Weisse and pushed the ABV, body and flavour profile way past their usual limits. This full-bodied, creamy and indulgent beer has been boosted by additions of banana, vanilla and orange zest. After all, Hefe-Weisse itself was technically in violation of the Reinheitsgebot.

Pours a hazy yellow with thick, fluffy head.
Smell is fruity and yeasty with a ton of banana candy upfront, and notes of citrus and wheat dough in the back.
Taste is intense with a nice yeastiness and again a big punch of banana candy. Notes of citrus and dried fruit with a hint of grapes. Soft bitterness, and no sign of the ABV.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and smooth, well carbonated.
Overall, a very interesting take on a hefe, very tasty.

COD 220920. Pours a turbid yellow, with fluffy white head. Smells banana, the actual fruit and the yeasty version. Thick, creamy, soft mouthfeel, some alcohol. Taste is sweet nana, some clove, and even get the orange and vanilla. Wonderful, but boozy.
