Collaboration with Equilibrium.
This collaboration took root during a moment of relaxation and a beer shared among friends. The beer in question featured our hand-selected Riwaka hops and the memory of it led Equilibrium brewmaster Pete to suggest that our first collaborative brew should put the same varietal front and centre. Riffing on the recipe for Equilibrium’s popular Fractal series, we created a single-hopped IPA that uses a simple recipe to leave even more space for delicious Crop Year 2020 Riwaka to shine.

Pours a hazy orange with thick, creamy head.
Smell is juicy and slightly peppery with a herbal twist. Notes of mango, citrus, gooseberries, melon and hints of floral rose water.
Taste is juicy and intense with some spiceiness. Extremely clean with a solid bitterness. Notes of citrus, mango, peppery rye, melon, gooseberries and hints of florals and sweetness. Spectacular.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft, pillowy and creamy, well carbonated.
Overall, a stunning NE IPA, top 3 ever for me, easily.
