Furthering our exploration of the British chuckleberry, this is a blend of a Bretted red wine Pale, refermented on elderberry, and a two-year-old spontaneous beer macerated on whole chuckleberries.

Pours a light red with low, pink head.
Smell is tart with notes of currants, rowanberries, red wine, lime and black currant cordial with hints of oak and red grapes.
Taste is intensely tart with quite a bit of acidity. Notes of currants, rowanberries, cherries, elderflower and gooseberries. A hint of bitterness with a dry, oaky finish. Su. Perb.
Mouthfeel is medium, dry and vinous with good carbonation.
Overall, a magnificient sour, outstanding.
