440ml can.
L: Pineapple juice with a thick, long-lasting cream head.
S: Tropical fruit but dull rather than fresh.
T: White grape, mandarin, a hint of pineapple, some coconut cream, plus that almost spicy kveik edge. Just fantastic.
F: Smooth and rich. How is this even possible in a 5% APA??
O: Outstanding session AIPA. Maybe the best I’ve tried at this ABV to date.

Pours a hazy light orange with fine head.
Smell is hoppy and juicy with notes of peach, citrus, grass and gooseberries. Very crisp.
Taste is juicy and fruity with notes of citrus, gooseberries, grapes, peach and grass. Soft bitterness and a hint of tangy esters. Crisp and clean with fantastic drinkability.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and pillowy with good carbonation.
Overall, a fantastic pale ale, with the body of an IPA. The Kveik yeast makes this just that little bit different, in a very good way.

Pours a hazy, bright orange coloration with a medium, fluffy head. Smells of doughy, biscuity malt and and citrus hops, with notes of grapefruit and lime peel, with some estery fruit accents as well. Taste is a great balance of doughy, biscuity malt, and fruity, slightly grassy hops, with citrus and lighter berry notes of grapefruit, lime peel and white grape, as well as some estery fruit accents of apple and apricot. Finishes with a light/medium bitterness and some lime peel and white grape lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
I'm not really a big fan of Kveik beers, but the Kveik yeast isn't all that intrusive here, with only very faint esters that stay mostly in background while the hops take center stage with some zesty citruy and tangy white grape notes. Another very enjoyable and flavorful low-ABV Pale Ale from one of the masters of the style, with a good body and mouthfeel for the ABV as well.
