Brewed using cassava, a vegetable widely used in many African cuisines. We used a selection of hops found in classic and modern West Coast IPAs and added them in several stages for a full and layered flavour.
The Danfo bus, a recognisable feature of Lagos which takes passengers to the destinations of this IPA’s namesake, Surulere, Ikeja and Mile 12.
Surulere is a place which brings back fond memories of time spent with family in Lagos.

Pours a clear pale orange with soft head.
Smell is fruity and floral with notes of citrus, elderflower, gooseberrie and hints of melon and sweetness.
Taste is crisp and floral with notes of citrus, elderflower and melon. Flawlessly clean with a moderate bitterness and a woody hint on the finish.
Mouthfeel is medium, soft and sticky with good carbonation.
Overall, a ridiculously clean and crisp take on a west coast IPA, with the intriguing wood note making it a bit unique.
